About this opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable Scaffolding company. Pennine Scaffolding are based in Golborne. Work with Pennine Scaffolding could be at numerous locations across the North West and further afield.

Scaffolders work in the open erecting scaffold to various designs/structures and at variable heights. You will be expected to assist with all labouring tasks associated with scaffolding including cleaning, lubricating, painting, loading and unloading. At all times safety is paramount and all safe working procedures must be observed.


You will be working alongside a fully qualified group of Scaffolding staff and block release College attendance will be necessary as part of your apprenticeship.


The work for this Apprenticeship is in various locations across the North west. Therefore a driving license and access to vehicle would be of benefit. Pennine Scaffolding could work away on some occasions. A commitment to the work ands a physical capability is needed for this Apprenticeship. Flexibility in terms of travel is needed. Work would be across the north west and Block Release Training will be in Manchester. The successful Apprentice would need to be able to get to Golborne on a daily basis for pick ups.


What you should have to apply

Ideally grade C in maths and english at GCSE level or functional skills level 1 or you will have to work towards your level 1 functional skill(s) whilst you attend College.
