About this opportunity

On completion of this Apprenticeship you will be qualified as a Calibration Engineer and able to maintain, repair and calibrate the company test equipment.

Role profile:

To complete the required academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship as provided for by the Company’s nominated training provider in order to successfully achieve the required qualifications
To complete all relevant coursework on time and to a high standard
To gain knowledge and understanding of other aspects of the Company’s operations by participating in Company assigned training / projects
Learn to communicate with internal and external customers at a professional level
Learn how to retrieve and record data from Management systems
Learn how to identify when test equipment requires calibrating to industry standards and if this can be done internally or by a third party
Liaise with field staff to recover and deliver test equipment when equipment requires calibration or repair
Learn how to maintain accurate records showing the current calibration state of all company test equipment.


What you should have to apply

The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English Language and Science, as well as having good IT Skills.

The ideal candidate will possess both I.T and Engineering qualifications.
