About this opportunity
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking apprentice to join our small buying team. The job role consists of helping the other buyers manage their databases and work load, as well as managing your own.
A normal day would include:
• Product research
• Contacting suppliers
• Assisting the buying team
• Visiting trade fairs
• CRM management
• Using Microsoft Office
You will also help increase our reach into overseas markets including the USA, Australia, and continental Europe to potentially purchase products and build on going business relationships with retailers, manufactures, customers, putting together spread sheets and documents.
Attending tradeshows across the country from time to time.

Hopefully stay on after your apprenticeship has been complete as a buying assistant.

Full training and support will be provided by our expert training and assessment staff at The Growth Company.

What you should have to apply
Maths and English GCSE A-C
Outgoing, uses initiative, efficient, patient, reliable.
•Experience in an admin/buying role would be an advantage but is not essential
•Must be able to work well within a small team
•Excellent organisational skills
•Be willing to learn and grow within the company
•Good knowledge of Microsoft office
