About this opportunity

Due to expansion a number of rewarding apprenticeship opportunities have arisen for scaffolding apprenticeships to work from Network Scaffoldings depot in Blackrod, Bolton.

A normal day would include:
Scaffolders work in the open erecting scaffold to various designs/structures and at variable heights. You will be expected to assist with all labouring tasks associated with scaffolding including cleaning, lubricating, painting, loading and unloading wagons. At all times safety is paramount and all safe working procedures must be observed.

Once you have your trainee scaffolder card you will then be allowed on site and be trained in all areas of scaffolding such as: birdcage, cantilevered, independent, tower, pavement and roof scaffolds

What you could go on to do:
Advanced level 3 scaffolder.

How you will be supported:
Training in the workplace and attend College on a block release basis.

What you should have to apply

If you don’t have grade 4+ you will work towards level 2 functional skills whilst attending College.
