About this opportunity
A great opportunity to join a growing company. This is a varied role that will enable the individual to undertake a business admin qualification at the same time.
A normal day would include:
•Answering telephones & re-directing calls
•Communicating with customers via email and telephone
•Produce and update records both electronic and physical documents
•Contacting clients to obtain all information/paperwork relating to current import/export shipments
•Checking paperwork received meets with requirements
•Raising sales invoices, allocation of costings for supplier’s invoices
•Liaising with carriers and UK clients to organise collections/deliveries as planned
•Check tracking and notify client of any delays
•Quoting of rates to clients/overseas agents, as per company tariffs
